It has been 20 years since artificial grass was introduced to China market. This innovated product developed rapidly during the last few years. Now most of the artificial grass products in the local market are completely made in China, all the materials and all the processes. Besides, the labor cost is economic, so the price is acceptable.

Most of the artificial grass products are used for football fields in China now, especially in colleges, universities and football clubs which get paid by hour. Almost all the college or university has at least one piece synthetic turf football ground. The most important reason is that artificial grass field could be used frequently and bare heavy traffic. Some fields are running approx all the day time and all the year round. Just imagine how it could be possible if using natural grass for that. Besides football field, more and more tennis courts use artificial grass and it will be popular in the future.

Let’s take a five-a-side football club as an example to calculate the a part of the cost and the incoming. If the size is 800 square meters, the cost will be around 5500USD, maybe some more or less, that depends on the artificial grass styles you choose. And when the cost finished, you can get at least 20USD paid one hour. If using the field 6 hours a day and 25 days one month, you can get 3000usd one month. That means you can get the artificial grass cost back less than two months. Then you could understand why more and more futsal clubs appeared these years.

But artificial grass is not so widely used for landscaping. But we believe as the people’s incoming rising, more and more people will use artificial grass to landscape there garden and backyard.
